German Podcastday 2006 - Videocast summary

So, on the 24th of may we had the first Podcastday here in Germany. Was it a success? 50/50 in my opinion. Gabe from xolo.tv had a real tough Panel, called “Fernsehen 2.0″ and there were too little Videopodcaster …

Presentation: bonjour-america, Cyrille, Paris/France

Bonjour America is a personal project created first to have fun and to show that anybody can make his own program very easily, with just a small DV cam and a editing software. After two months, it met such a great audience in France that national newspapers, radio and a big TV channel talked about it in France, the BBC in England and the Public National Radio in the USA.

The idea of Bonjour America is to explain the small differences between European (mostly French) and American cultures, languages, visions, that are at the beginning of misunderstandings. Only in a funny way, of course. Today, after 25 episodes, 50% of the audience is American. Thanks to this show, I work now on a very big project, a new concept in French, connecting a traditional TV channel and Internet in a same program… But I’ll tell you more about that in September!

I’m Cyrille de Lasteyrie, 36, married with two kids. I worked 10 years in advertising companies as a copy-writer and creative director. In 2005, I decided to change everything in my life (I kept my wife), and to start a new life in the Entertainment area (as an author, actor and producer).

United Vlogger Episode #1 - Newspaper throughout Europe

This ist the first episode of the United Vlogger project. The shots were taken Saturday, 6th of may 2006 on 10 am. Five Vlogger throughout Europe talking about the news in their own countries, published on the local newspaper.

Voici le premier épisode du projet United Vlogger ! Les séquences ont été tournées le samedi 6 mai 2006 à 10h00 du matin. Cinq vloggers de différentes nationalités européennes y parlent de l’actualité de leur pays, via les quotidiens locaux.
